Despite the global pandemic COVID-19, Emaar Properties has not slowed down in its investment ventures in 2020. Its latest launch, Address Marassi Golf Resort in Egypt, has mounted up in cost to $59.4.
The Dubai-based development company has launched the resort as the second of nine planned hotels to launch in the area. Consequently , the Emaar Hospitality Group will conquer the Sidi Abdelrahman bay area on the country’s north coast.
Address Marassi Golf Resort is designed as a Tuscan style low-rise resort. It counts with 48 rooms and suites overlooking Marassi’s 18-hole signature golf course. Additionally, the resort prides itself on its 82 serviced apartments. The golf course was designed by renowned designer Peter Harradine, and has been a unique selling point to Marassi for years.
The resort also features five top-tier restaurants. Only the best chefs get to cook for Emaar Residents. Also, two outdoor swimming pools, one indoor pool, and the world-class “The Spa at Address”. Moreover, your special events can be hosted in the private 250 sqm ballroom.
The development harbors the largest yacht marina south of the Mediterranean, with a 236-yacht capacity. In addition to boasting the first international marina in the North Coast area. That marina has the capacity to host luxury yachts that reach up to 150 metres in length.
Emaar Misr, the Egyptian arm of the property giant, first opened the EGP 1.5 bn ($93.8 m) Al Alamein Hotel in 2018 in Sidi Abdelrahman bay. In summary, Emaar Properties’ investments in Egypt amount to EGP 200bn. That’s divided into EGP 55 bn ($3.4 bn) investment in the entire Marassi area and an EGP 11.5 bn ($719m) investment in Emaar Misr’s newly-launched project, Cairo Gate. While the company’s investments in its Sheikh Zayed land may sum up to EGP37.8bn ($2.4bn) in the coming period.
