The wall colors are set depending on which style you choose or even if you are doing a mix of many styles, the most dominant one should set  the tone for the color palette.

For instance, if you decide on a rustic style you can use beige and brown palette, whereas if you go for a modern look then you can paint the walls with a mix of white and black. It is also worth noting that bold colors are very trendy nowadays. Whichever color you choose just make sure that its easy on the eye as your bedroom should be a comfortable place where you can relax.

Now lets consider the million dollar question, what furniture is essential to have in your bedroom?

Bedroom Interior Must Haves

Obviously the first thing you need is a bed, if its a master bedroom or a guest bedroom then you can get a king or a queen bed. However children’s bedroom should have single beds. The duvets should contrast the walls to bring the room together. To elevate the style of your bedroom even more you can throw in a couple of throw pillows.

Secondly the bedroom’s lightening should be layered, meaning that it has more than one lightening source. This will help you have lightening for different purposes. To put that into more perspective, ask yourself how much light do you need while reading versus how much light you want on while napping.

Before choosing the rest of the furniture, you have to outline where will you out them in the room. To ensure that you have space to move around and the room is not too cluttered.

You need at least one nightstand beside your bed and if its a queen or a king bed than its better to have two nightstands, one in each side. The nightstand/s ought to match the floors color and type.

If you don’t have a separate dressing room then you should get a wardrobe should that’s big enough to fit all your clothes yet not large enough that it takes up plenty of space. If you don’t have a lot of space then make sure your wardrobe includes many shelves and drawers to maximize the efficiency of its space.

Your bedroom design must include some pretty sheet curtains. For a more sophisticated and elegant look, try to have them in the same color or pattern as the bed’s duvet.

Consider adding a special area for you to lounge, meditate or read. This private nook can have a cozy sofa, bean bags, or some Moroccan floor cushions. You can also add a lamp, some potted plants and a small desk.
