Founded in 1989, Mountain View - previously known as Dar Al Mimar Group(DMG) - started as a development and real estate business that quickly proved its excellence. It then got infused with other companies in 2005 and became the huge real estate guru we know today “ Mountain View” which celebrated 2024 its 35th year of experience in the Egyptian Market.

History of Mountain View 

When talking about Mountain View, we are talking about a long history of experience in the real estate field and an awesome story of success.

Starting in 1989 as Dar Al Mimar Group (DMG) for art and decoration with only 5 employees, it grew in 1993 to have a design arm and became Dar Al Mimar Architectural Design & Contracting. 

By 2005, Dar Al Mimar Engineering & Real Estate, the real estate arm of the company was founded and by incorporating two other specialist businesses under its name, Curve and Idrak, Mountain View was established.

By 2015, DMG, or Mountain View had grown over the years to incorporate other sister companies it was by then established as a large company with engineering, real estate, and hospitality arms with more than 1500 employees.

In 2014, the company celebrated its 25th birthday and now, Mountain View is established in the Egyptian real estate market with more than 35 years of experience.

Key Players in Mountain View: Founder & Chairman: Amr Soliman 

One of the major players in the Egyptian and MENA real estate markets is engineer Amr Soliman.

He began working as an architect in 1989 at the Dar AI Mimar Group for Architecture and Décor, a consulting firm for architecture and engineering. His main focus and objectives have always been to create successful designs that significantly improve the lives of his clients by creating homes that meet the four essential criteria of beauty, comfort, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

As his company expanded, he found that contractors were not always able to provide buildings that were as efficient and beautiful as intended. He therefore made the decision to launch his own contracting company in 1993, expanding Dar Al Mimar for Architecture and Décor's purview beyond architectural and engineering design to include construction contracting.

Beginning as a specialized professional real estate development firm in 2005, Mountain View benefits from the collective technical skills of the group companies and leverages their vertical integration. 

Mountain View swiftly transitioned from building mini-compounds and tiny premium communities to city-scale complexes that incorporate various daily activities in 2005. He collaborated with CallisonRTKL and Delivering Happiness (DH) in 2015; the project was purposefully planned to foster a happy atmosphere. 

Additionally, he is a partner of several social responsibility organizations and charities, such as "The Egyptian Food Bank" and "Terous." He also participated in the Real Estate Academy program run by the American University in Cairo Foundation.
